Description

This is a good, well modelled taxidermy mount of a fox mask and brush by the renowned taxidermist E. F. Spicer. 1850-1927.
Edward Francis Spicer was the cousin of Peter Spicer with whom he was working with in Leamington in 1871 the team were highly regarded for their naturalistic style and professional mounts and were prolific workers during this period.
The oak plaque measures 28 cms by 18 cms.
