Description

This is a very charming old Tekke Turkman carpet which dates from the late 19th century. The carpet has six rows of fourteen Tekke motifs and is a very nice muted shade of rich russet red. It has attractive borders and a further lattice decorated border to each end. The carpet is generally in very good condition with just light overall wear. It is a great room size size measuring 276 cms by 222 cms.
