This is a beautiful antique saroukh rug from West Persia dating from the early 20th century. The rug has a fine and intricate design with an ornate indigo medallion set within a deep rose field of scrolling vines, surrounded by stylised floral borders of indigo cream and pink. This quality carpet is woven in soft fine wool and is a nice practical size, in very good order and measures 236 cms by 130 cms.UK insured mainland delivery is £28
