Description

This is a very attractive Victorian period wall mirror with an attractive design and great detail. The central raised mirror glass plate is the original good quality 3/8" bevelled plate in good overall condition, ( some slight marking and ageing as photographed ). The canted side sections of glass detail are again bevelled and are beautifully deeply cut with wheat ear designs. The gilding is in nice order with a lovely deep antique gilt colour. The mirror is a grand size measuring 49" by 39" overall so would make a fine overmantel.
The mirror is a heavy and substantial piece and could easily be hung either way up as is your preference.
