This is a good quality gilt picture frame in excellent condition dating from around 1890.This has its original bright gilding in lovely condition.
The frame measures 54 cmc by 44 cms overall.
The aperture is 34.5 cms by 27 cms (or 38.5 x 30.7 with the inner slip removed.)
The rebate at the back is 28.5 cms by 35.5 cms or 32 by 39.5 without the slip.
