Description

This is a large Victorian overmantel mirror with an elegant plain styling and its original gilt finish which has a delightful warm glow and attractive rubbed back look. The mirror dates from around 1860 and has its original plate glass which is in very good order bearing in mind its age with only a few ageing marks to the glass. The mirror is in good sound order and retains its original pine backboards.
The mirror is a good size measuring 88 cm wide at the base and 127 cm high overall.
