Fine Pair of Chinese Cloisonne Elephants Qing Peri

This is a fabulous pair of large Chinese Qing Period Cloisonne elephants with removable candle sconce howdah to their backs dating from around 1870.The pair are most decorative and substantial and are in excellent condition.
These are crafted in solid brass with beautiful coloured enamel designs inlaid throughout their highly decorated bodies. The pair have removable candle holders to their backs on the decorative howdah and both still have their solid brass tusks present.
These are a really decorative pair of good scale and are extremely rare to find.
The pair are measuring 28 cms high by 35 cms wide and 20 cms in depth.
