Description

These delightful 19th century hand carved, gilded and silver gilt cherubs are a really good pair dating from around 1870.

The winged putti are posed in flight so look beautiful hung in any situation.

The original gilding is in very good order overall with a lovely silver gilt used on their robes which is attractively rubbed.

There are a couple of historic repairs on close inspection but well done and not really that noticeable at all.

These have great character and add charm to any setting.

The cherubs measure 28 cms by 20 cms by 12 cms.
