Description

A very pretty pair of late Victorian giltwood and gesso mirrors with original gilding and good rococo design dating from around 1890.

The pair are a lovely size with unusual smaller proportions than normal being just 45 cms in height by 35 cms wide overall at widest point.

These neat mirrors are a very practical pair suitable for a multitude of situations

The pair are in really good condition for their age and retain their original plate glass set into the gilded wood surround which has a good rococo styling and handsome crest in the Prince of Wales Feather style.
These came from a good property in Driffield North Yorkshire.
