Description

This is an elegant, large late 19th century Gilt and Gesso Cartouche shaped mirror in nice original condition with its original gilding in very good order. The quality mirror has a smart bevelled glass mirror plate in good clean condition. The gesso moulded frame has a leaf repeat design with beaded inner detail.

This is a grand size, very practical for a multitude of situations so would make a fine Overmantel or substantial hall mirror. The piece measures 76 cms high by 77 wide overall at widest points.
This came from a very good property in Driffield North Yorkshire.
