Description

This is a good19th century mahogany cased wall clock or station clock with a quality fusee movement dating from around 1850.
The clock has been recently overhauled and is in excellent order keeping good time and running for up to 8 days winding once a week.
The original hand painted dial shows the original London retailer to be W.Ellis Ltd of Notting Hill.
The circular case has a lovely golden colour and nice patina. The dial has some characterful ageing and discolouration but is an honest original dial still in good useable condition.
This comes with original keys.
The clock measures 38 cms in diameter by 16 cms deep.
