Charming Bird Embroidery 18th Century Framed

Description
This is a very charming framed embroidery dating from the 1700s. This hand sewn piece of a pretty yellow bird is worked on quilted silk and is presented in a solid wood frame which suits it well. The embroidery is in good condition for its age and the frame measures 16 cms by 16 cms.This is one of two very similar embroideries we have available.
They came from a experienced textile collector with a significant collection of good 18th and 19th century samplers.
