Good Large Arched French Gilt Mirror

Description
This is a good 19th French arched gilt marginal mirror in excellent condition dating from around 1870. The large gilt frame has its original gilding in really nice order with a superb crest and engraved detail to the side columns. This has its original mercury glass plate which is in lovely clean condition flanked by five narrow marginal mirrors that are again the original glass. The gilding has a beautiful antique gold appearance with a very nicely aged patina. This has its original backboards also to the reverse.The mirror is a fine size measuring 158 cms high by 85 cms wide.
