Description

This is a good early 20th century Chinese porcelain garden seat in the form of an Indian elephant, dating from around 1920. The elephant with Houdah is ornately adorned with Regal paraphernalia in the Indian Raj style. This is in perfect condition and is raised on a substantial base with a biscuit glaze repeat design and the elephant has a beautiful deep green glaze surface.
This is a fine decorative piece in lovely order and an imposing size at 50 cms high by 25 cms wide by 52 long.
