Description

This is a very pretty early 19th century gilt and gesso rococo pier glass mirror of rare design in nice original order dating from around 1820.
The unusual hour glass shape is most decorative and the lovely tall ribbon and bow crest is still intact and in excellent original condition.
The base also has nice detail with an attractive harebell design all in its original gilt finish.
The mirror plate is the original antique glass in good clean condition.
A little belter.
This measures 69 cms by 32 cms overall.
