Description

This is a good quality 19th century London Fusee wall clock by Dearling of Croydon in beautiful clean condition dating from around 1870.

The mahogany case has a pleasing plain design with side and bottom doors and the original painted dial has Roman numerals and signed Dearling High Street Croydon .

The good quality movement is a single fusee with anchor escapement which has been cleaned and serviced. This runs for 8 days winding once a week on a key and keeps very good time.

The original winding key is present as is the original key to the working lock for the bottom door. The clock measures 36 cms in diameter and 15 cms deep.
