This is a gorgeous Chinese woollen hand woven carpet with striking Chinese design, dating from around 1930.The bold central field has a Dragon chasing the flaming pearl and the outer borders feature bats to the design typical of Chinese imagery representing good fortune.
Excellent condition overall with a great, stylish look and attractive warm colour palette.
The rug measures 210 cms by 122 cms.
