Description

This is a very fine antique silk hunting rug with great detail due to its high knot count dating from around 1920.
The silk rug has a lovely colour palate of soft coral, duck egg blue, turquoise and chestnut to the many animals depicted as well as the hunters on horseback.
This is in excellent clean condition and has a good even pile with no wear.
The rug is a perfect size for a wall hanging which would look stunning or is ideal for a sofa back again for display.
The carpet is 91 cms by 84 cms overall.
