Charming Victorian Embroidery Cockerel in Crucifor

Description
This is a charming tapestry work picture of a cockerel, hand embroidered in colourful silks dating the late Victorian era circa 1880. The embroidery is attractively framed in its original cruciform frame which measures 44 cms by 38 cms overall, to the extremities.In lovely original condition overall bar one small leaf missing from upper right corner of frame. (Not really that noticeable).
