Antique Italian Majolica Table Lamp

Description
This is an attractive antique Majolica table lamp in perfect condition recently rewired ready for modern usage. The porcelain body of the lamp is beautifully decorated in classic Italian style and hand painted in the majolica palette typical of the period, (circa 1870). This is mounted on a cast gilt metal base of rococo styling and has been rewired with modern braided cable in keeping with the style of the original.The lamp is a nice size measuring 60 cms high overall. The shade is in 44 cms diameter and this measures 20 cms in diameter at the base.
