This Chinese lacquer picnic box is a beautiful antique piece, originating from China in the late 19th century. The picnic box is in lovely original condition with a beautiful antique patina and warm golden colour to the lacquer. The box is attractively hand painted throughout and has a delightful rabbit painted to the lid. The carry handle is in excellent shape with its original hand forged brass ware. It is perfect for storage or decoration and will make a lovely characterful feature in your home.
The basket is in super order and measures 30 cms in height by 20 cms in diameter.
