This is an Ebonised Pine Cello Case from the late 19th century, by the acclaimed English violin and bow makers W.E. Hill, 120 Bond Street, London. This has top quality brass carrying handles, hook catches, hinges and locks. The green velvet and mahogany fitted interior is in beautiful condition with ebonised bow stays, leather strap and two hinged polished mahogany compartments The case measures 130cm high 50 cms wide by 32 cms deep.

A great statement piece or decorators item that is beautifully sculptural adding real character to any setting.
