Description

This is a very pretty Chinese Chinoiserie Mantle Clock with attractive Pagoda temple shape dating from around 1920. The clock has a good quality eight day Swiss movement with an engine turned silvered dial and painted Roman numerals. This was originally retailed by J.W. Benson of London, with their name to the dial. This is in good running order, keeping good time.
The case is beautifully decorated with Chinese chinoiserie designs in lovely colours and gilding and has a very pleasant pagoda shape.
This is in super order and measures 24 cms high by 16 cms wide by 10 cms deep.
