Antique French Gilt Mirror

Description
This is a beautiful 19th century French gilt mirror with lovely proportions dating from around 1870. The mirror has its original water gilding with a lovely antique colour and retains its original mercury plate which is in nice aged condition with a few minor marks as can be seen in the photos. It has lovely acanthus scroll detail throughout the frame and to the ornate crest.The mirror is a nice size measuring 175 cms by 93 cms wide to the extremities of the piece.
