This is a beautiful Antique Isfahan Carpet, dating from around 1920


Handwoven in fine soft wool, the ivory field has a one-way design of plants and birds and animals with a lake beaneath enclosed by charcoal borders with further plants, bird and animals. The colour palette is warm and attractive with red, warm coral and orange featured. The animals in the design are delightful with little orange and brown rabbits and a variety of birds including ducks and birds of paradise all present.

This measures 204cm by 137cm and is in great condition, cleaned and ready for use.
