Description

This is a good English Overmantel in super original condition dating from around 1840. The oval central mirror has an attractive Regency rope design frame in Giltwood with tasselled ends and the mirror glass is the original mercury plate which is in good useable condition with some typical ageing marks. The frame is in sound condition as is in the original gilding and the piece has its original backboards.
The mirror measures 76 cms high and is 120 cms wide overall.
