Description
This is a very good example of an antique Heriz carpet dating from around 1900. The carpet has a typical Heriz design and wonderfully muted colour palette with central star shaped lozenge set within a soft coral field and light blue, gold and indigo to the spandrels and borders. This is well drawn with lots of detail to the tribal pattern of the carpet and it is in really good condition for its age with complete ends and selvedges and an even pile throughout.The carpet is a very good room size measuring 362 cms by 288 cms and looks stunning down on the floor.
