Rams Head Antiques

Description

This is a good pair of American alligator taxidermy specimens in an ebonised three glass display case dating from the early 20th century circa 1920.
The display features a juvenile full mount, jaws agape and head raised stood upon a moss covered log with a small hatchling below beside a glass simulated pool of water. The pair are attractively set amidst a simulated setting of palm leaves and various fauna.
This is a fine case of good specimen in excellent condition, the case measuring 76.5 cms long, 36.5 cms high by 30.5 cms deep.
