Description

This is a fine 19th Century mahogany cased two-train double fusee, repeater movement bracket clock by G. Searle of Wellington Street and Russell Street, London. The superb quality movement is in excellent order and clock runs for eight days, striking on a gong every hour. This has a repeat mechanism on the strike operated by a chord with brass toggle on the right hand side of the case. The flame mahogany case has a beautiful rich colour and good patination and is attractively inlaid with brass detail. This has been fully serviced and comes with a full years guarantee.
This substantial clock measures 49.5cm high, 31cm wide and 17cm deep.
