Description

This is a super 19th century fusee movement wall clock or station clock in beautiful, fully restored condition dating from around 1880. The clock has a solid mahogany case with brass bezel and dome glass face. The 12” dial with hand painted Roman numerals signed Frederick Cox 84 Goswell Road EC1.
The single fusee movement with anchor escapement has been fully restored and runs beautifully winding on a key once a week. This also has its original small key to lock in the lower door accessing the pendulum.
An excellent example in stunning condition ready to grace your home.
The clock measures in diameter and is cms deep from the wall.
