Description

This is a superb quality 19th century French gilt mirror in beautiful original condition dating from around 1860. The mirror has its original water gilded finish which has a good rich colour and antique patina. The attractive crest has a floral rococo design with a large central shell. The gilding is attractively rubbed in places with the warm red oxide glowing through. This has its original backboards and original glass plate in excellent clean condition with no blemishes.
The piece is in fine condition throughout.
