Description

This is a good Oak Longcase Clock by the renowned maker Richard Marshall of Wolsingham dating from the late 1700s. The clock has a decorative brass dial with engraved detail and a silvered cartouche in the centre has the makers name engraved to the plaque. The cast spandrel have lovely detail and the face is attractively engraved with scroll designs. The clock has it’s original decorative blued steel hands. The movement has been recently serviced by our horologist and runs perfectly keeping good time and striking a lovely tone on a bell on the hour every hour. The oak case is in nice clean condition throughout with a good colour and patina.

The clock measures 210 cms high 50 cms wide by 25 cms deep.
