This is a beautiful, good quality Saroukh carpet with a lovely deep, soft pile dating from around 1900. Hand woven in soft lustrous wool, the carpet is finely drawn and has a pleasing design with a central medallion in a deep coral field surrounded by flowers and foliage. The warm coral field is complimented by shades of light blue, indigo and a pistachio green to the borders. A very pretty carpet, this is in excellent clean condition.
