Description
This is a very charming Anatolian woollen prayer rug dating from around 1900 with wonderfully rich colour palette. The prayer rug has a crimson stepped mihrab against a warm tangerine background and deep golden and blue borders of polychrome flowersheads. The carpet has a beautiful sunset look to it.This is in excellent condition and looks fabulous down, it measures 157 cms by 105 cm.
