Description

This is a very fine antique Central Persian Ghom rug dating from the early 20th century. The rug has a very unusual and beautiful design with a central compartmentalised field of polychrome Mirhabs and stylised plants enclosed by madder floral borders and pale indigo rosette guard stripes.
The rug is in excellent order and measures 228 cms by 141 cms.
