Description

This is a super 19th century Girandole mirror dating from around 1890 with its original gilt finish and ebonised highlighted frame. This has a beautiful acanthus crest with central shield and shell design above cabled Laurel leaf moulded detail around the arched frame. There are a few very minor historical losses to the crest but hardly noticeable. The mirror glass is the original plate in excellent clean condition. The three Girandole candle holders are in super order with their original gilt finish and ebonised highlights.

A very attractive and elegant piece and a good practical size measuring 104 cms high by 44 cms wide by 21 cms deep overall.
