Description

This is a good large Chinese Famille Jaune porcelain vase with bold colours and a very decorative design dating from the late 19th century circa 1870. The vase has attractive gilt lion ring mask handles to the sides and red ironstone hand painted bats to the inside rim. The enamels are bold and crisp with lovely strong colours of yellow pink green and blue.

The vase is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration save for slight losses to the blue enamel in a couple of places.

It is a good size measuring 35 cms high by approximately 22 cms in diameter and 17 cms diameter at the rim.
