19th Century George III Style Gilt Mirror

Description
This is a large 19th century Giltwood pier glass dating from around 1870 in the George III style.The mirror has a typical broken pediment design with classical mask central and eagle crest above. The detail also includes acanthus scrolling and Roman style shell motif. This has its original plate glass in good clean condition and it’s original backing. The mirror is substantial in size measuring 115 cms high by 65 cms wide.
