Antique Kashgai Carpet

Description
This is a handwoven woollen Kashgai carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet has a beautiful colour palette with a warm red field surrounding an indigo central diamond medallion and spandrels in a soft indigo, almost lavender shade. This is decorated throughout with zoomorphic and other tribal devices. The carpet measures 255 cms by 170 cms and is in really lovely condition throughout. A very nice example.UK delivery is £20
