Description
This is a handsome hand woven Saroukh Feraghan carpet dating from around 1910. The carpet has a striking design with central diamond shaped medallion and well chosen colour palette featuring a warm red and both mid blue and indigo. It has a stylised flower filled field and a rich cinnamon shade to the spandrels, all framed by pretty multiple borders.This well woven carpet is in excellent condition and measures 194 cms by 125 cms.
