Description

This is fine quality French Mahogany console table with matching original mirror above in absolutely splendid condition. The ensemble has very elegant proportions bing neat yet tall, with the mirror having an attractive scrolling pediment to the top.
The flame mahogany has a wonderful rich colour throughout with a fabulous grain. The mirror has its original plates which are in two sections of glass referencing earlier Regency twin plate mirrors. Both have characterful ageing to the glass. Both pieces have matching moulded florets to the corners with attractive beaded detail to the mirror frame.
The piece measures 214 cms high overall the base is 84 cms high 80 cms wide 38 cms deep with the mirror being 130 cms high by 71 cms wide at the top (widest point).
A most handsome combination and quite a rare size very hard to find in such beautiful original condition.
