Description

This is a very pretty quality silk rug dating from around 1900. The carpet has a wonderful garden design with eight separate framed panels all depicting various plants, flowers and garden shrubs. Finely woven in silk it features an attractive colour palette which includes a bright gold, azure blue, rich red and ivory. This would make a fine wall hanging as well as looking great on the floor. The carpet is in excellent condition throughout. It measures 183 cms by 107 cms.
