Description
This is a hand woven silk carpet dating from around 1930. The carpet is finely woven in silk and has a warm but light colour palette featuring ivory, peach, camel and mid blue. The design has an elaborate finely drawn flower filled field with deep borders of palmettes and scrolling vines. The carpet feels beautifully soft and is in excellent condition.It measurers 210 cms by 120 cms.
