Description
This is a beautiful 19th century French Overmantel mirror dating from around 1860 in excellent original condition. The original water gilded finish to the frame has a superb antique colour and depth and is beautifully tooled with a flower and leaf design. The cushion frame has cabled and beaded detail around the large original mercury plate which is in nice clean condition with no blemishes.This is a fine size measuring 141 cms by 95 cms and could be hung either way round.
