Description
This is a pretty hand woven woollen carpet from the Caucasus dating from around 1900. The main colours are a lovely indigo blue and a coral shade with some characterful abrashing. The carpet has an unusual one way double lozenge design with some very interesting motifs including animals. It is quite finely woven with a low even pile and neat selvedges. The carpet measures 203 cms by 112 cms and is in good ready to use condition.UK delivery is £20
