Description
This is a stunning 19th century hand carved giltwood twin plate mirror in excellent original condition dating from around 1870. The ornate rococo style piece has a great design with a most imposing central crest and it’s original water gilded finish throughout. The mirror plates are both also the original glass in beautiful clean condition.This is a very nice example and is substantial in size measuring 138 cms high by 68 cms wide.
