Description

This is a rare pair of matching Kashan Carpets dating from around 1920. These beautiful and quality carpets are woven in the finest wool as is typical of Kashans. They feature a really lovely colour palette, each with a cream field with an open allover design of flowerheads in blues, pinks and golds enclosed by deep meandering vine borders. These are in excellent condition with complete ends and selvedges and look terrific down on the floor. As they are a pair they would make a perfect pair of bedroom carpets.
Hard to find in these delightful light, uplifting colours, particularly as a pair they each measure 216 cms by 136 cms.
