Vintage Italian Painted Bombe Commode Harrods

Description
This is a beautiful Italian bombe commode with lovely hand painted detail originally retailed by Harrods of London. This dates from the mid 20th century and is of serpentine shape, hand painted with harebells, swags, garlands and acanthus scrolls. The cabinet is in a soft sponged green with some minor ageing marks to the top surface. There are three useful drawers and the cabinet is raised on shaped splayed feet. The chest is in good sound condition ready for useProvenance: From the contents of Whitchester Hall, Northumberland.
The cabinet measures 76 cms high 85 cms wide by 44 cms deep.
