This is a really attractive large 19th century French marginal mirror with an antique white paint finish.The ornate frame has a stunning central crest above the large original bevelled plate glass which is surrounded by four pretty marginal mirrors decorated with cut glass button detail. The gesso moulded frame has some historic losses to the moulded detail but in a characterful way and has been attractively overpainted. This is a great size for a decorative floor mirror standing 156 cms high by 97 cms wide.
