Description

This is a very smart and characterful Kazak carpet dating from the early 20th Century. The carpet has an unusual and attractive colour palette and design. In natural vegetable dyes, the carpet has a quartered design and features highlights of cinnamon, coral and amber shades, the main body of the carpet being oatmeal indigo and soft pink. The carpet has both raised and flat pile areas giving it a wonderful texture. In excellent order throughout this measures 203 cms by 134 cms.
